Free Massachusetts Freelance Consulting Contract

1. PARTIES

This Freelance Consulting Agreement (the "Agreement") is made and entered into as of [DATE] (the "Effective Date"), by and between [CLIENT NAME], a [STATE] corporation with its principal place of business at [CLIENT ADDRESS] ("Client"), and [CONSULTANT NAME], an individual/entity with a principal place of business at [CONSULTANT ADDRESS] ("Consultant").

2. SERVICES

2.1 Scope of Services. Consultant agrees to provide the services described in Exhibit A (the "Services"). Any changes to the scope of services must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.

2.2 Standard of Performance. Consultant shall perform the Services in a professional and workmanlike manner, consistent with industry standards in Massachusetts, and shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

3. TERM AND TERMINATION

3.1 Term. This Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and continue until [END DATE] or until the Services are completed, unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Section 3.

3.2 Termination for Convenience. Either party may terminate this Agreement upon [NUMBER] days' written notice to the other party. In the event of such termination, Client shall pay Consultant for all Services performed up to the effective date of termination.
